Welcome!!!

The Applied Electromagnetics Group is a research group of the Department of Naval, Electrical, Electronic, and Telecommunications Engineering (DITEN) at the University of Genoa. We work on high frequency applied electromagnetics problems. The people of the Applied Electromagnetics Group carry out teaching activities at the Polytechnic School of the University of Genoa.

Young Scientist Award at URSI GASS 2020

Alessandro Fedeli received a “Young Scientist Award” in the framework of the “XXXIII General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science” (URSI GASS 2020). More information about this event can be found here.

Special Issue on "Microwave Sensing and Imaging"

We are organizing the Special Issue "Microwave Sensing and Imaging" on Sensors!

You are invited to submit a paper! The deadline for manuscript submissions is September 30, 2020.

This Special Issue aims at providing some insights into recent microwave sensing and imaging systems and techniques. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: computational methods for electromagnetic imaging and inverse scattering, analytical and numerical forward modeling techniques in complex scenarios, sensors and antenna design, as well as innovative applications of microwave sensing and imaging.

Award at the 2019 Joint Meeting GTTI-SIEm

The work "Electromagnetic imaging methods in Lebesgue spaces for nondestructive testing and biomedical diagnostics", presented by Alessandro Fedeli, has been awarded at the 2019 Joint Meeting GTTI-SIEm (Pavia, Italy, June 26-28, 2019).
